The Psychological Science Department at Weber State University invites applications for an instructor level position, with a 4-4 teaching load. We specifically seek a candidate with experience teaching introductory psychology and other courses in the curriculum both online and face-to-face. Instructor positions are temporary appointments renewable by separate contract at the sole discretion of the University based on available funding.
The Instructor will be expected to engage undergraduate students in research and/or practicum experiences, or service, and this will be a requirement for possible promotion to senior instructor in the future.
Minimum requirements are a masters degree within a field in psychology, but a PhD or PsyD in psychology is preferred, by the appointment date of July 1, 2027. There is a slight preference for those with backgrounds in developmental, personality, behavioral, or forensic, but all qualified applicants will be considered.
