Adjunct Instructor for Graduate-Level Social Bases of Behavior

La Salle University’s Doctoral (PsyD) Program in Clinical Psychology is hiring an adjunct instructor to teach Social Bases of Behavior during Summer 2026. This is a graduate-level course taken by 1st year students in our Program. This course examines theories and research in social psychology with particular reference to multicultural issues and their relevance to mental health models and psychological practice, and it covers a number of topics including self, social cognition, emotions, self-regulation, attachment, affiliation, stereotypes, prejudice, attitudes and persuasion, social influence, group processes, aggression, altruism, empathy, and well-being. We are able to share materials with you to ease preparation, including syllabus, readings, and lecture slides.

The Summer Semester runs May 19th – August 1st. The course is scheduled for Tuesdays 4:00-7:30 on campus, but we may be able to negotiate another time if needed. Online/remote teaching is a possibility for non-local candidates with strong experience in social psychology.
