The Department of Psychology & Counseling at Marywood University (Scranton, PA) is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor of Psychology (tenure-track) with a specialization in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or related discipline.
Position description:
The primary responsibility of the position is teaching in the undergraduate Bachelor of Science psychology program. The specific course options would be based on the interests and expertise of the individual and can include any of the following: Abnormal Psychology, Abnormal Behavior in Children and Adolescents, specialized courses for the clinical psychology track of the major (Clinical II: Ethics & Evidence-Based Practice; Psychology Internship), Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, Senior Seminar, OR electives in the candidate’s area of specialization (e.g., forensic psychology, drugs and behavior, stress and coping). Courses can be taught in fall, spring, and/or summer sessions, depending on the individual’s preferences.
