Tennessee State University is a public, historically Black university (HBCU) in Nashville.

TSU’s Department of Psychological Sciences and Counseling seeks applicants for a tenure track position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor to join the core faculty of a vibrant BS in Psychology program. Content area is open, but priority is given to those with expertise in multicultural instruction and expertise in mentoring undergraduate student research. Classes to be taught may include but are not limited to: statistics, industrial-organizational psychology, cognitive psychology, sports psychology, psychology of the Black experience, or senior project. We are seeking a flexible, student-centered team player who enjoys the additional responsibilities of the position, which include advising and mentoring students in research.
