The Department of Psychological Science at Ball State University is hiring an Assistant Teaching Professor to begin Fall 2026. We are seeking a teacher-scholar with a strong record of teaching excellence to join our department in a non-tenure line (NTL) position. As a NTL faculty member, this individual will teach courses in the department and remain current in their specialty area. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate one or more of the following qualifications: doctoral degree in psychology or closely related field from an accredited institution; experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level in a psychology program, and/or a history of applied work or academic research. Special consideration will be given to applicants who can teach courses such as Correctional Psychology, Psychology of Criminal Behavior, Psychology of Women and Gender, Prejudice and Discrimination, and/or statistics and research methods.
