Position Summary: 

The Psychology Department at Dominican University is accepting applications for two tenure-track positions in psychology, areas of specialization open, one at the rank of Assistant Professor and the other at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. We welcome applicants who are passionate about teaching and pedagogy who would enthusiastically support undergraduates’ research training, both by mentoring students’ independent research and by inviting students to work on their research. Though area of specialization is open, we are especially interested in candidates for one of the positions who can offer one or more courses in our developmental psychology curriculum, including Lifespan, Child, and Adolescent Psychology and Adult Development and Aging and would be interested in working with the other faculty members in the department to re-envision, organize, and standardize our Developmental Psychology curriculum. We also encourage candidates who would be interested in working with other faculty members to do the same with our Introduction to Psychology curriculum.
